My top ten beauty products of 2023
Hi everyone! Hope you all have had a great start to the new year! In this post, I’m going to be recapping my favorite beauty products of 2023.
1. Tower 28 Lip Jelly
I love love love this lip gloss. My favorite shade is “XOXO” and while it seems like a very bold color, it brings out such a natural pigment in your lips.It adds the perfect finishing touch to any everyday or elegant look.
2. Supergoop Play Sunscreen
I wear this every.single.day. It never disappoints! The sunscreen can serve as such a beautiful, glowy base for makeup, but also stands on its own. SPF is so important for your everyday skincare routine, this was the first one I ever tried and I don’t think any product could top this one.
3. Glossier Stretch Concealer
I adore this concealer. It is so natural and buildable. This concealer can be great on it’s own and also great under a concealer with more coverage if you have a pimple.
4. Ouai Leave in Conditioner
If you have super curly hair, this makes drying it so much easier. It eliminates a step in the shower, and helps to prevent knots. My hair dries super curly, and this mousse has calmed it down and made brushing it out so much easier.
5.Marc Jacobs Perfect Fragrance
I love this fragrance. I think it is such a perfect everyday scent that won’t break the bank. I’m not good at describing scents but I love that it isn’t too overpowering.
6. Real Techniques Face Base Makeup Brush Kit
I really only started getting into makeup this year, and I needed some quality makeup brushes to learn. These are great for beginners and aren’t too overwhelming to learn how to use. These even have the functions written on the side for clarity!
7. Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Highlight Wand
This highlighter might just be the best beauty product ever. It gives the best glow ever without being too sparkly (one of my highlighter pet peeves). If you don’t love the price (which I completely understand) I also love the Saie super glowy gel, and Glossier Haloscope.
8. The Inkey List Succinic Acid Treatment
In a pinch with a pimple? The best things come in the smallest packages, and at a small price. This acne treatment has helped me so much when I have a spontaneous breakout, and at $13, the price is really unbeatable.
9. Milk Makeup Hydrogrip Hydrating Makeup Primer
This primer is so tacky, and keeps you makeup in place all day. This primer is perfect for more glam looks when you need your makeup to last through important events.
10. Drybar Liquid Glass Spray
For those of us with curly natural hair, this makes it so much easier to brush through your wet hair. It’s also a timesaver because you don’t have to wrangle your hair through a blow drying brush if you don’t want to. If you’re leaving the house with wet hair that dries straight, it’s a game changer!
Thanks for coming this far! Can’t wait to get back into the swing of blogging in 2024!
xoxo,
Kate Violet
